To safeguard public health and maintain market order, regulatory authorities have been continuously improving the cosmetics regulatory framework and strengthening full-chain supervision.

In 2024, new changes emerged in the management of cosmetics registration and filing. Companies need now adapt to stricter requirements in compliance submissions, product filing, and raw material management. Meanwhile, China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and other relevant regulatory bodies have successively introduced regulatory updates covering key areas such as efficacy claims, labeling standards, and safety assessments.
